QUETTA, 7 September 2026: The Intra-Provincial Challenge Cup 2026 — Road to Pakistan Cup will begin in Quetta on 8 September 2026, providing young cricketers from across Balochistan an opportunity to showcase their talent and progress towards national-level cricket.
The tournament is being organized by the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
A total of 16 teams from across Balochistan will participate in the tournament, featuring talented Under-19 and Under-23 players.
The participating teams have been divided into four groups:
Group A: Quetta Whites, Noshki, Kalat and Sibbi
Group B: Killa Abdullah, Jaffarabad, Khuzdar and Pishin
Group C: Quetta Blues, Loralai, Gwadar and Panjgur
Group D: Naseerabad, Lasbela, Turbat and Chaghi
Matches will be played at different cricket grounds in Quetta, including BUITEMS, Fatima Jinnah Ground, PDMA Ground and Asif Ground, with fixtures scheduled mainly in the morning and afternoon.
The tournament aims to identify and provide opportunities to emerging cricket talent from across the province. Players who deliver outstanding performances will have the opportunity to progress towards representing Balochistan in the Pakistan Cup.
To encourage the players, the Player of the Match in each match will also receive a cash prize and a bag.
The knockout stages will continue from 12 September, while the semi-final stage will be played on 13 September at Bugti Cricket Stadium.
The final will be held on 14 September 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bugti Cricket Stadium, Quetta.
The initiative forms part of the Sports & Youth Affairs Department's efforts to create competitive opportunities for young athletes and strengthen the pathway for talented cricketers from Balochistan to reach national-level competitions.
