Privacy notice

When you register as a player, coach, referee or club official we collect your name, father's name, CNIC or B-Form number, date of birth, gender, district and tehsil, email address, mobile number, your sport and club, and a photograph if you provide one. Players may also give a playing position, preferred foot and height.

When a club or association registers, we collect the body's details together with the name, CNIC, telephone number and email address of its president, secretary and treasurer.

For paid memberships at Sports Board facilities we also record the holder's name, CNIC, telephone number and payment status.

The portal records when staff approve, reject or verify a registration, and which member of staff did so.

The Sports Board maintains the provincial register of athletes, coaches, referees, clubs and associations. CNIC and B-Form numbers are collected because the department requires that one person may hold only one registration, and that is the only reliable way to prevent duplicates.

Contact details are used to tell you the outcome of your application and to reach you about your registration. They are not used for marketing.

Approved members appear on the public athlete pages with their name, sport, district and club, and their photograph and achievements if provided. You can switch your public profile off from your dashboard at any time.

Your CNIC or B-Form number, email address, telephone number, date of birth and home address are never shown on any public page.

The public verification page confirms only a holder's name, sport and status. It deliberately reveals nothing else, so a card can be checked at a ground without exposing personal details.

Sports Board administrators can see complete registration records, including CNIC and contact details.

A District Sports Officer can see records for their own district only. An association administrator can see records for their own sport only.

Senior officials — the Minister, Secretary and Director General — see aggregate statistics and are blocked from pages that contain personal data.

Every access decision is enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the interface.

Young athletes register with a B-Form number and date of birth. Where a registrant is under 18, the portal records the name of a parent or guardian and their confirmation that the registration is made with consent.

A child's CNIC, B-Form number, contact details and date of birth are never shown publicly.

We count visits to the public pages so the department can see which information people are looking for. This is measured on our own server; no analytics service, advertising network or other third party receives your data, and no tracking cookies are used.

We do not store your IP address. A visitor is counted using a one-way code derived from the connection and the date, which cannot be reversed to identify anyone and is discarded the following day. We record the page visited, whether the device is a mobile, the site that linked you here, and a broad location — usually the country and city.

To work out that broad location the network portion of the address is looked up once and the result cached, so the same range is never looked up twice. The full address is never stored. Signed-in areas of the portal are never measured.

We also record where on a page visitors click, as a position and the label of the item clicked, so the department can see which parts of a page are actually used. This records no text you type and nothing about you.

Registration records form part of the provincial sports register and are retained by the department as official records. Verification codes and password reset links are short-lived and are destroyed after use or expiry.

If you want your public profile removed, you can switch it off yourself. If you want your record corrected or removed from the register entirely, contact the Sports Board office.

The portal and its database are currently hosted with a commercial cloud provider whose servers are outside Pakistan. The department intends to review hosting arrangements against government data requirements before the portal is adopted as the sole official register.

Access to the database is restricted, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and the connection between the portal and its database does not cross the public internet.

You can edit your own details and turn your public profile on or off from your dashboard. You can change your password at any time, and you can ask an administrator to correct anything you cannot change yourself.
